actually, I've started to. Both you and 'dr. pete' have talked about
this enough so that it fueled my interest, and, once started have
found it delightfully easy! Immediate benefits have been sounder
rest, reduction of anxiety down to near zero, and the ability to
meditate without a long coming out period, as you say, anywhere.
This 'being still' has quickly and dramatically increased my
perception of silence during activity ('quickly' meaning being
preceeded by ~30 years of TM...)
So a big thanks to you, and dr. pete!
PS I still do my mantra meditation, TM, because it is still a very
effective drill bit in my quest to 'journey to the center of the
earth'...
