The brilliant mess which is the White Album points to some unstressing influence, but the Beatles stayed together a few more yrs and I know no serious beatles historian who thinks their experience in rishikesh had anything to do with their breakup. Though Let It Be was their last album released, the recording sessions (shown in the movie) were done much earlier than Abbey Road, which was their actual last album recorded together. To me Abbey Road shows why they broke up - John Paul and George had each evolved into solo artists whose songs were going in different directions. The beatles formed when they were all teenagers and it just didn't make sense anymore.
