Yes but this in not about race it is about culture.  Indians just refer 
to westerners as "white guys" and Indians themselves are Caucasian.  In 
the documentary "Fierce Grace" Ram Dass makes a comment about westerners 
buying to Indian culture without having any idea about what they are 
buying into.

And then there is the theory espoused by some Indians that many of the 
souls who were killed after the Indian independence reincarnated in the 
west.  Some Tibetans also buy into that.

Personally I could care less about celibacy which I learned a long time 
ago is sort of a fallacy (phallusy --- :) ) since the semen gets passed 
in the urine anyway.  If one has a good meditation technique (a guru 
mantra for instance) then the mind goes way beyond that physical realm 
and it does not become an issue (oops, another pun).
