Amherst, summer of 1979. It was a tape of a MERU
graduation. It was hilarious with Larry Domash being
so serious wearing this huge traditional English Don's
hat and gown. Nobody could stop laughing. As soon as
the tape came on there was an explosion of laughter
that just cycled through the hall. Larry looked like a
character in a Monty Python skit. I'm even laughing
now as I type this. The laugh shakti hasn't ended yet!
After the tape ended everybody kept on laughing and
Bevan told us, trying to be a bit stern, (but even he
was smiling) that the hat and gown were quite
traditional. Man, was that funny!
