Are you under the impression that this is a bad thing to:

 "Let the mantra follow the breath?"





 Tell someone your mantra.  Note if these have ill effects.  Its not like any 
of these rules is 
going to lead to brain cancer.  In my experience the worst case scenario when 
experimenting with TM is a slight headache 


Nothing worng with a slight headache unless it is the *result* of 
"experimenting"...



or a distracted 20 minutes. 


I can go 7+ hours being distracted during meditation. Pole marvel that I sit 
still for so 
long.

Sounds like you have a genuine mis-understanding of being "on the program." 
That's ok, 
that's my impression of many people who claim to know what "being on the 
program" 
means.
