No, I was under the impression if that happens one is supposed to go
with it and eventually it goes away. No matter. My point is there are
whole schools that teach to run the mantra with the breath.

Lawson, your missing my point here. Pranayama requires no more effort,
just a different method. Its like the difference between how the Sunnis
wash for prayers versus the method used by the Shia. BFD.

I would say a slight headache is a sign that I am on the wrong track.
However, a slight headache is a small price to pay to see if a certain
direction is feasible.

Lawson is there a point when your OCD balances your ADD? I mean
couldn't you become obsessed with your mantra and never cycle to
thought? [:)] (I mean that in a funny friendly respecting way, Don't
get mad).

I like getting checked. From what I can tell there are no governors in
LA anymore. There used to be a center on La Cienega but its gone. One
would think an area with a population of 22 million could support a
center. I don't think checking is an option here.

Maybe we could do it on the internet... Close your eyes...open them.
Gotchya I didn't say Simon Sez!
