Everyone has a right to his own opinion and experience. My experience of Sri
Sri Ravi Shankar is greatly different than your. My experience of Maharishi as
well would probably greatly different from yours.

I have had people initiated in Sahaj and they had the follow up days. I
used to make a joke of an Indian boy coming of age. In western society a boy
can go to his parents and say Father I want to be a doctor, an artist, a
minister a priest, engineer any profession and the father will say yeh or
neigh. Yet in India when a boy goes to his father and says Father I want to be
a guru. The father says: son I will give you this land 100 acres now I will
give you also 100 rupees now I will send you to the people if you gain many
followers and acclaim we know this is the profession for you. If the people
trhow tomatoes then you know this is not your dharma......

A { COLOR: #0000ff; TEXT-DECORATION: none } Just what I said. Take it
at your leisure, but people I have talked to (not all, obviously, but some)
were told their mantra and some instructions and that's it! No follow up.

They (Sri sri sri sri sri) are not worming their way into TMers hearts any
more than they already have.

I am not against Sri Sri, but I have met him, and at that point he looked
just like any greasy haired yogi wannabe. There was nothing special about him.
Of course many people who had acid stomach enjoyed the alkalinity of
hyperventilization and the bhajans, especially after watching vicariously all
the top Movements having all the fun. My guess is he has appropriated the
shakti of the coherence of his TM followers now as his own. But when he started
out, he was little more than a human. Now, fully fledged Bhagavan (not born of
twat is what that means) he is all high and mightly.

He wasn't told to go teach by Maharishi, he wasn't forbidden. Slight
difference.

Anyway. Who really gives a shit. Those who need to follow something can go on
wagging the dog for all I give the slightest fuck. Personally I find autonomy
and serving those around you a tad bit more enlightened. But again, some people
can't 'just serve others.' They have to serve, 'the best.' They can't just open
their eyes. They have to have special types of awakening.

So what I am saying is basically that Sri Sri is full of shit. The collective
consciousness of the mob is still that of the mob and doesn't make me sweat for
being wrong. A human is a human. People followed Anton LaVey too.

Dont know what you are talking about. Many people who are using his
meditation find their experience even deeper than their TM experience. I have
never done Sahaj but it was given to him to teach Indian people from Maharishi.
So and most of the Sahaj teachers were Maharishi trained TM teachers. So
please explain.

Art of Living Foundation already IS the new TM movement. They've got the
numbers, they've got the excitement and they've got one hell of a nice guru.

  ----Except they suck.

I have met plenty of Sri Sri Sriers who don't know what they fuck they're
doing with their mantra technique and get nothing from it.
