You have to admit, that would make one funny movie. Christopher Moore already did a send-up of the cargo cults in "Island of the Sequined Love Nun," but it would be fun if someone did a story about some space retard (the intellectual counterpart of Bill and Ted) who comes to Earth because he basically gets lost on his way to some more civilized world. There, he finds people so primitive they'll believe anything he tells them, and bring him fruit and virgins and stuff just for telling cool stories. So he makes up the whole of the Vedas until he gets bored, and then he leaves. Voila. Vedic tradition. :-) Why do the UFO freaks always assume that visitors from space are more intelligent than we are? Haven't they ever met tourists before? :-)
