This isn't a philosophical debate about how we do or don't decide to filter our experience. The most difficult part is putting it into words. Saying that everyone gets what they deserve is not an indictment of anyone's unfortunate life, nor a glorification of those more fortunate. Unfortunately it is being interpreted by some as just that.
