When he was oot & aboot, so to speak, I remember once, just as he got in the car (white Marcedes) a gradmother-type brought a baby in arms towards him, asking his blessings/help as the baby was sick. He had a shocked look on his face and immediately began rolling up the window. He said something about 'just give it (he really said "it") some nice food'.
