You know all this talk about "awareness" and "consciousness" seems to
ignore that these states are still impermanent and they still are
subject to emotional afflictions, the kleshas and samskaras. While we
have talked of the Wisdom of Discrimination--as in a brief
discrimination and jump to a new POV--there are other "Wisdoms" (jnana)
that must arise for perfect enlightenment to occur. Usually the first
is Mirror-like Wisdom where are phenomenon appear as Mind in all as if
a reflection in a mirror. It's all Mind. It is the luminous nature of
Mind which allows Mirror-like Wisdom to happen. This is usually
obscured, but once this luminosity is perceived, all internal and
external objects and the mind being perceived as self. No "I" or
"me"--everything is just as it is. The Wisdom of Equality arises when
the samadhi of fearlessness happens. It was the delusion of a sense of
self and other that kept the fear going. Then there is
Discrimination-wisdom which is really a Wisdom that arises from the
senses liberating into their natural condition--then the 5 senses and
the mind, the 6 consciousnesses are seen as they really are.
Illusion-samadhi dissolves the illusions of the six-realms but allows
one to see all the dimensions of subtle existence as they are.
All-accomplishing-Wisdom and Dharmadhatu Wisdom are other wisdoms one
needs to accumulate for full Buddhahood.

The point is, it's more than simply discriminating purusha from
prakriti. If only it were that simple!
