Here are some perameters you could go by.
First, how long can you remain in Samadhi, how long can you sit in 
the Self, with little or no breath, and with no thoughts?
Second, how connected do you feel to 'all that is?' do you feel 
synchronicity in your perception...do things just line up for you in 
your waking state consciousness.
Third, do you feel that you could die today, and that you would be ok 
with it? that you don't fear death, but rather know it is inevitable, 
and therefore, nothing is worth getting off center about, no maya is 
worth getting confused and unbalanced, and you are quite ready to 
acknowledge you know what you don't know.
Forth, make up you own.
