You are guessing too much..

I certainly received transmission and receive it all the time. You
seemed to make a statement about Tantric mantras in general. Not one
person can even make the same experience twice. In TM the mantras
which are tantric, are to be transcended. Your statement implies a
certain well defined goal for a mantra directly created by the
conceiver of that mantra. Thats a limitation that I don't accept.
Obviously mantras can be used in many ways.

See the follow up of matrix-monitor. I was referring to the
light/sound thing you mentioned. Surat Shabda Yoga is a typical
meditation which focuses on light and sound. Opposed to that in a
technique like TM there is no focus on light and sound. They are
different techniques besides the fact that they both use mantras. In
my eyes you are narrowing down the way mantras can be used, in making
such 'matter of fact statements' about mantras. Its rubbish.
