He is still younger than MMY was when he became famous. No telling what
he'll do. Amma is becoming more and more famous. 1/4 million people (or some
such number) from all over the world attended her 50th birthday celebration
a couple of years ago. Billy Graham is still getting interviewed on Larry
King. Is that any indication of his degree of enlightenment? No one outside
India ever heard of Guru Dev. Was that any indication of his? What does
Maharishi's behavior have to do with his fame (largely attributable to the
Beatles), and with his level of consciousness? So he made a big splash in
the late 60's through mid 70's and introduced us and many others to
meditation. We're all grateful for that. The world was ripe for such a thing
and if it hadn't been him it would have been another, but obviously it was
his role. I guess the point we're debating is "the others you

But I don't understand the point you're trying to make. Are you saying that
has fame excuses him from any mistakes he may have made?
