Oh, if it were only true - but it's not, Nabby.  Grow up.  MMY did his very 
best, to the very 
end, for the TMO to be as widely accepted, as soon as possible. 

 MMY was most comfortable with a tight grip, and his insecurity over the idea 
of loss of 
complete control precluded the best administrators the autonomy necessary for 
the 
greatest progress of the TMO. 

The long fall of the TMO, from the doorstep of wide acceptance, to its current 
irrelevancy, 
was not planned.  No amount of rationalization along those lines makes any 
sense, except 
to further insulate the deluded from having to see MMY's own role in the TMO's 
demise.
