It's especially egregious when you claim that a tax refund in the 
middleof a war, that ends up making the social security situation far 
worse down the line, is "giving the money back to those that donated."

At least deficit spending for public benefit was, well, theoreticall 
beneficial to those who paid into the SS fund.
