The Devatas are the immanent manifestation of God IN creation
projected out of Maha-Prakriti or the holy sound of AUM. They
embody the power inherent in sound vibration and lift ones jiva or
soul to transcendental bliss (anandam).
I think the tmorg has some 'splainin to do! Why would they avoid
such profound truths? other than to cleverly conceal these facts in
order to spread TM to an ignorant, superstitious prone populace. If
they acknowledged it, it would be more honest, but to deny the
connection...a little strange!

Why don't YOU tell us what his "latest" exposition is? Are you
channelling him?
Really I hope you realize that this is a moot point. The last thing on
earth Mahesh would want would be for the world to correctly understand
what rishi, devata, chhandhas, svara, etc. (the necessary aspects of
any mantra) really meant. Why? Devata is the specific force of deity.
MMY's whole facade is built around it NOT being religious, but
"science", Maharishi Vedic "Science". IOW, his exposition, for a
correct understanding of mantra, is best avoided.
So tell us Lawson. Enlighten us. What is M's latest blurb?
