Indeed it does.  Thanks for introducing a very
interesting perspective on things, Judy.

I posted some statistics the other day, and one
of them drew a fascinating comment.  The stat
was that the war in Iraq has cost the United 
States $180,772,216,646. For that amount of money, 
the US could have fully funded global anti-hunger 
efforts for 7 years.

The comment was something along the lines of, 
"Imagine the good will that would have resulted
from doing this."

Imagine.  If the US had reacted to 9/11 by rethink-
ing its position among nations on this planet, 
and had spent $180,772,216,646 fighting poverty
and global warming instead of invading Iraq, would 
there be the level of global terrorism that there 
is today?  I don't think so.
