What exactly is a "real medical doctor?" I don't know many of those. Instead we seem get MDs whose dream it was to have a gig that would afford them more time on the golf course. Only about 10-15% of the doctors I've meant were truly interested in medicine and the practice of it. Real medical doctors are curious about the effects of herbs and interested in things like ayurveda and often take the "doctor's courses" that those schools teach. And working at a company with a health care plan I watched as many people went to the doctor for a friggin' "hangnail." Such plans were ripe for abuse.
