GAWD that's such self serving claptrap. Where's the beef, Robert? Have you ever actually experienced a miracle as defined by the dictionary? -- that is, an exception to a law of nature? Anyone can be fooled, me included, but if someone is pushing a story of a miracle, they'd better have something better than the rubbish you've spewed above. "Someone told me that Maharishi was in two places at once" doesn't cut it unless we can get that person to attest such under oath and with a lie detector attached. Mechanic to Robert about his car: "Whacha got heah is yer onacannaspanner is rubbing too hard on your doohickywhatsit, and so your frem is loose." Robert: "Well, I don't think anyone in history has ever heard of such parts on a car, but you seem to be an honest guy, so fix that and bill me." In the Bible they say that the apostles were able to raise the dead and do everything -- and more -- than Christ did. You tell me, how in the hell did that "knowledge" not get taught down through the years to all the followers and instead allowed to die out? Does ya think that if you were a follower back then and had your loved one die that you would go bug the fucking hell out of apostle to bring them back? Damned right you would. And you'd be as angry as can be if they didn't bring back your loved one. Where's the written history of folks being pissed at the apostles or telling fabulous tales of the dead coming back alive? That knowledge, if real, would never be put back into Pandora's box....or, if the apostles came out with some bullshit answer like "these miracles only work on true hearted believers," they would have been waterboarded the first time some distraught father had his kid die. If the father is told that his kid doesn't deserve to live again, look out, look out, Dad's gonna act out. I mean really: if I knew someone who could bring back the dead, I'm, like, going to study at his feet as soon as I can get packed. And woe unto him if he's just a trickster....cuz I've fucking had it with tricksters, and if one more finds a way to get under my radar to get my bucks, look out when my delusion evaporates. Miracles are like that: they motivate even hard hearted rocks like me. I gave 29 years of my life and my entire family to just such promises of miracles. Talk about fooling me not once but at least a million times. So, when I see someone putting out words that promise a miracle, like, say, um, enlightenment? -- they'd better expect me to ask the rude and hard questions. There's no way Guru Dev or anyone ever did any miracles that can be documented -- if they were documented, why we'd have colonies on many planets from the gravity control secrets alone. And, if there was such a thing as "making gold appear," why the markets would have picked up on that long long ago and the value of gold would be much lower -- just like the value of diamonds would be lower if the world knew how many fucking TONS of diamonds are kept off the market by De Beers.
