I have no belief in or fear of superstitious ideas about what happens after death. The way I see it, *everyone* is destined for some religion's version of hell. The mother of deer can stand in line behind the god who's gonna punish me for being gay, the god who's gonna punish me for not being Christian, etc. etc. With respect to MMY and superstitious roo beliefs about eating meat, I'm reminded of two things. One is the fact that when I went to MIU, the MIU kitchen served chicken. The other is a story I heard about some meat-eating good ol' boy from Texas who was on a course in the early days and was suffering from the radical change in diet. Supposedly, MMY told his buddy to go take him out for a steak. And, finally, a question: since veal is a byproduct of milk production, should lacto-vegetarians be worried about a major afterlife smackdown by the mother of cows for enabling veal production?
