Hello everyone,
M'lou and I spent a couple of weeks on the road, and so much is happening
that it's worth while putting together a summary for our friends. We met
with the Charlotte Peace Palace team and the one in Pittsburgh, attended a
Trustees meeting at MUM, visited both vedic agriculture projects and the
pandit campus and met with two rajas. I realize that many of you are
rightfully wary of superlatives, but things really are in high gear and
looking pretty positive. Here's the news..
- John H. reported that Maharishi has 175 groups of 350 pandits
each in India performing graha shanti and Peace Yagya programs. That's
55,000 pandits in decentralized, localized groups, even more than Guru Dev
had in the 40's. They have been in place for several weeks and the numbers
are growing.

- Bevan, in Vlodrop, reported that Maharishi is feeling extremely
fulfilled to the degree that all his desired world transformation is finally
coming to fruition. He's never seen Maharishi with such energy and
enthusiasm. He's unfolding new aspects of creation day after day and
keeping people at rapt attention until the wee hours. Then he's off doing
other projects while his loyal troops stagger off to bed. It's all very
productive and joyful.

- There are multiple confirmations that the pandits are indeed
coming to MVC. The quote which is circulating "should come immediately" is
relative depending on an Indian vs US point of view, but it appears to be in
motion.

- The University is in the best shape ever. Four years ago,
students provided a little more than half of expenses. Now, the gap between
student revenue and expenses is relatively small. Management has formally
reorganized, reduced expenses, increased revenue and is creating much more
transparent reports which are easy to understand. Thanks to many of you the
Annual Fund has been successful once again. This bolsters the finances,
creates capital for long term projects and helps reduce our debt. The
University has also managed a sizable donation to India which has been
described as key to the U's long term viability. I'm impressed with how the
place is run and their results.

- MUM is embarking on a Capital Campaign where the first target is
to build a large and very attractive Campus Center including a dining hall,
food preparation facilities, a theatre, large classroom and meeting space,
etc. It's a very large vastu building which will cost close to $5M. So
far we are moving quickly towards the sizeable down payment which would
allow it to get started this summer. Each of the rooms and the building
itself will be named after donors or their designates, so if you want to be
memorialized or know someone who should be, now is your time. I can let you
know how it works.

- Raja Wynne is a man on a mission. M'lou and I were treated to
an animated 1 ∏ hr audience while he was in full Raja regalia!. The
national rollout is serious and in full swing. The Global Country of World
Peace is putting together teams for land vetting, building design, building
implementation as well as all the other dozens of angles of Maharishi's
knowledge. If people find good land it's often being bought. Building kits
are under construction and rolling out to interested areas. Store leases
are being secured and starting to be opened. It sounded like 10's of
millions of investment is starting to go out with a full expectation of
return in the near term. The cosmic dice are really being rolled in our
favor.

- There seems to be an implicit message just below the surface.
Maharishi intends to change the world and the campaign is started. It's
going full swing and involves hundreds of people and millions of dollars.
There are people in the field a little bruised from lack of personal
consideration and perhaps feeling wistful for the old days. But, that's
gone forever. It's a bracing message, but certainly a welcome, adult
reality as far as we can see.

- We learned that the buildings for Peace Palaces which have been
ordered are actually panelized construction, not modular like the bouncy,
noisy things here at Heavenly Mt. We happened to see panelized houses from
Ryan Homes going up while we were in PA. A 2,500 sf house was completely
framed to dry in from cinder block in only 4 days. Quite amazing. M'lou's
sister lives in a panelized house and you would have difficulty telling it
from stick built.

- The MVC Ag project shipped more than 20,000 lbs of veggies to
more than 15 major retailers last month and the enterprise is only a year
old. The MUM Ag project, which is roughly the same size green house, has as
broader product mix and is sending thousands of pounds each week to the
dining hall and rack jobbing a cute store outside the domes which is doing a
banner business. There are very impressive crews at both locations and this
is something which could easily be replicated elsewhere closer to local
markets.

- MVC also has 2,000 acres of other land to be used for organic
hay short term and longer term whatever is needed. Raja Wynne tells a
hilarious story about how an experienced farmer materialized one day during
the teacher course, asked for a cell phone and proceeded to line up used
farm equipment, workers and customers for the output of these 2000 acres.
They are now on the job and the tractors are rolling in just a few weeks.
The only downside is that the deep well water in Fairfield is too salty. So
they have to dig a shallow well, reconstitute the sulfur water from that
level in holding ponds and then spray it on the crops. That may hold back
development for a little while.

- If you look in the eyes of the Raja's you can definitely see the
changes Maharishi has rendered in them. Very settled and clear, but
deliberate and incisive in direction and intent. Raja Dean is as master at
facilitation and accommodation of his troops but at the same time has a
nicely performing territory in terms of accomplishment. People loved his
commencement address to the students as well.

- It seems that some of the long term meditators are "voting by
folding their arms". They have heard it all before and are waiting to see
how it's all going to work out. Clearly, for each of us our top priority is
to do our program - preferably in vastu. However, even as a lower second
priority, I would encourage everyone to find some aspect of this you find
intriguing and get on board. This looks like the real thing, perhaps even
Sat Yuga, and nobody should miss it.
