She has the reputation of being a willing conduit for administration spin. Before the Iraq war, for instance, she was pushing the now- discredited WMD theory for all she was worth in the Times. The Times had to publish what amounted to an apology not long ago because much of her reporting turned out to have come from unreliable sources. If Miller is protecting anybody besides herself, she's protecting someone in the administration. You need a revised scorecard here, I think...
