Things and events change by the very act of being perceived by the senses.
Individuals don't all percieve exactly the same thing. And, what appears to be so, may not be so. Things and events may *appear* to be one thing, but are actually another thing? So, events which are the result of cause and effect may be seen as 'luck' or chance events by some people who do not understand the law of karma - Natural Law.
