At a school reunion in 1999, a number of former classmates who were Fairfield residents were unable to join us for events on campus, being persona non grata there. I'm thinking of Shri Shri Ravi Shankar exponents Sid Slagter and Larry Kline, for example. Now, I could be wrong -- it could be they chose not to attend.
