Seems possible that is where part of the image of Satan originated, with the pitchfork and serpent, anyway. Would've been a great way to discourage Christians from looking too closely at alternative religions...It seems the Christians have been at odds with Vendanta for awhile now. -----I believe that the Harappa settlements in the Indus river area were the area where Noah lived pre-flood. The existing religion was probably Dravidian Shaivism. The later Jewish myths started after the flood. Judiasm on the inside teaches advaita.
