He was saying that enlightenment is first experienced at the 6th or Ajna 
Chakra, (most likely Self-Realization or what MMY calls CC).

So your see, kundalini rising is essential to transcending, you can't transcend 
without awakening the sleeping serpent fire, kundalini!!
