OK, one more attempt to get some clarity here. His intention might have been fulfilled by someone (a human bean) who knew of it and decided to carry it out for him by sabotaging the plane? Or do you mean his intention might have been fulfilled by Nature (e.g., by creating a sudden downdraft)? The latter. But pure speculation. Who really knows?
