Perhaps your own motivations in this matter might be worthy of review. I think we are all aware that there is a climate of negative expectations regarding many projects associated with the movement at this time. Certainly I am aware that the prolonged gestation of this book has created negative expectations in the minds of many who look forward to reading it. To whatever extent some weakness in my own performance in that regard has been a contributing factor, I am sorry indeed. The truth of the matter FROM THE VERY BEGINNING was that I never knew how long it would take, even though I may have thought otherwise. The book is, in fact, very near completion at this time?and it is ABSOLUTELY not the case that there has been no progress?but even now I cannot give a specific timetable due to variables not under my control. I have given several updates in this forum, some of them fairly detailed, but frankly, I would prefer not to discuss the project in public again until I can make the publication announcement.
