--My experience is similar to this. Realizing that the past really
dosen't exist, except in my mind, and that a lot of my perceptions
of the past, change with time, and that letting go of being able to
or wanting to change anything of the past..
Also, realizing that no one can really understand anyone else; you
can't really know someone else's experiece, really, and no one can
ever know your's, really. So, it really doesn't matter if you are
misunderstood, or not understood at all. Anything that can convince
your ego, that it doesn't know the whole story, and that any
postition which you hold on any topic, can be re-evaluated and
adjusted, so, you really don't have to hold on to any preconcieved
notion of anything.
Enlightenment provides, freedom in the present to just Be. Being
means just witnessing everything which is taking place in the mind,
the heart, the enviornment, the energy flowing through your body,
the energy flowing through everything. The more engaged you can be
in witnessing, the more present you can be, and the more present you
can be, the less you are involved in the past or in the future...
