:-) It's all part of the Grand Plan, which is set up to insure that the True Believers don't have a pot to piss in, money- wise or asset-wise when it comes time to die and dive into the Bardo. In the absence of actual Bardo teachings, the lack of possessions back in the relative world is sup- posed to make overcoming the attachment to that world and moving effortlessly to the next easier for the students. Being stronger and more evolved and more able to overcome attachment, Maharishi is performing selfless service by accumulating his students' wealth. He can *handle* having all that money and walking away from it effortlessly at the time of his deah, and they can't. So the transfer of assets is really an act of kindness. It's all in one's POV. I've actually heard this argument presented seriously. :-) To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!'
