Just speculating (because surely in the TMO there would
never be a need for such a thing), the "Jerusalem Syndrome"
might just take the form of people who, having had one or
two cool spiritual experiences along the Way, and realizing
that they will never, ever have those experiences recognized
or even explained for them within the organization itself,
set themselves up in business as spiritual teachers.
