That there were such restaurants in the South does not automatically mean there were such restaurants along that highway. If you're going to suggest there were, you'd have to explain why the right wing didn't jump on that fact to "prove" their claim that the Gores were not only racists but liars (along with their nanny, who was black, and who confirmed the Gores' account that there were no restaurants that would serve both whites and blacks).
