You're forgetting: it is consciousness all the way down... Human consciousness is a product of the human brain. The human brain, in term, is a product of consciousness. BUT, to hand-wave and say "its all the same" is to avoid dealing with the fact that for most people, it doesn't look the same, because their brains aren't functioning in a way that allows them to appreciate that fact. And as for the rest, shrug. I don't worry about home invaders too much beyond locking my door and keeping a disrupter under my pillow. L.
