"I hope I die before my money runs out" is by
no means a wish exclusive to those who have
been "sold out" to their spiritual organizations.
*Most* people won't have enough retirement money
put away to last them comfortably, and they begin
to confront that scary fact in their 50s.

It isn't unreasonable to hope you don't have to
live for years in grinding poverty after you've
become decrepit and chronically ill.
