I saw James Whitmore in his one man show Give 'em Hell, Harry on
Broadway. Whitmore had the most darshan I've ever experienced.
And I have seen and been close to Maharishi a couple times when he
was traveling around the US during the Merv wave.
A close examination of Mahesh across time and from people who saw his
on-stage persona and his off-stage self, shows that the image of the
blissy giggling guru was just that: an image, a caricature, a stage
illusion; most never knew the Real Reesh, the Grinch.
One can, in 20/20 hind vision see where the World Teacher Seminar of
RWC subconsciously received it's idea of stage, setting/context,
actors, stagehands and audience. Step right up to the microphone, the
audience awaits and all the world's a stage!
