I think it's more than just "boring"...I think it's the epitome of the very evil that they are trying to convince us we are on the side of for not accepting JC. Can you imagine the Son of God condemning 80% of humanity to burn in hell for all eternity because they don't ascribe to the perverted and twisted interpretation of a part of the Bible that was never meant to be used as a recruiting marketing ploy? ----I just never understood how people could rely upon a thought or a concatenation of thoughts as a reality. It seemed to me that the only sound basis for any
spiritual discovery had to be ones basic awareness, and since that never changes
anything else just had to be relative to that.
If Christians cannot cope with that experience then I
cannot cope with their snobbish insistence upon their concatenated conceits.
Especially if they think that their devil has spawned
rock and roll. If you cannot accept rock and roll then I cannot accept
your Jesus, because I sure as fuck am not listening to harp music in your vague
cloud 9.
It's like I always said to my wife. "Where is the
soul?" She is smart and said, "Somewhere in here." Describing a
square area in the chest. I said, "OK, but what is it's form, what doesn it look
like?" She would say, "I don't know." I'm like, "Well, don't they
teach what the soul is, where it is, what it looks like, etc... in Catholic
school?" She said, "Probably, but I forget."
My point is that if you don't know what your soul is,
what it looks like, what it's nature then what the fuck are you fightin for, and
who are you fighting? You might be fighting your very own soul. But
you won't know it. Maybe the evil clutches of Satan you feel are the wings
of your soul flapping. How will you ever know if you don't have the faith
and guts to find out. If you run in fear the first time you feel the
breath of eternity then you're doomed. In my book.
So go hold onto your McDonald's hamburger. It's
about as close to your own soul as most Christians will ever get. Fear the
laughter, fear the sex, fear the drugs, fear all of God's creations, run from
the Sharks. Don't go into the water.
OK, gotta wash the dishes.
