This is interesting. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Wrong again - their behavior/record was so much worse than I ever imagined. Until we stop putting shareholder profit at the head of the priorities, we are screwed. We just are. We will certainly not last as long as even the Roman Empire and we are on that trajectory. We've learned nothing. And what to do? We are captive...trapped. How does one escape and keep the house and raise the kids and earn a living? Impossible for most of us. I tell my daughter - it's up to you, honey..the millenium generation, to change the world. Our generation failed miserably and the generation before and before. Thank goodness she is going to college - funded by money from my grandparents...who came from a long line of right-wing republicans. Fuck. What's in your portfolio?
