Now you're talkin' music...the San Francisco groups! :-) Agreed. Moby Grape's first album was remarkable. Not a loser song in the bunch, perfectly sequenced. Too bad there was never a followup that did the group justice. Me, I was into the SF bands we (me and a bunch of Southern California hippie friends) used to hire for our dances/ light shows -- Quicksilver and the Dead. The two guitarists from Quicksilver were always a delight to watch and listen to, and of course the Dead were the Dead. Of the guitarists of the era, Jimi Hendrix may have had the most innate talent, but Jerry had the soul and the vision. ------------------------ Yahoo!
