That is such a complete red herring argument, it would be funny if it weren't sad. More people died *because* of US involvement, when we propped up murderous dictators and then left countries like Cambodia to their fates when it wasn't convenient for us anymore. Pol Pot was not a Communist, Shemp, nor was he propped up by the North Vietnamese or anyone else.
