That whole post resonates very deeply with me. And, it really gets to
the root of my problem with spiritual transmission in the form of
English language, which necessarily has to pass by the intellect. My
intellect demands to understand it. However, awakening isn't the
intellect's realm. Awakening is realized on the level of
consciousness. It's ineffable. To speak or read of awakening is to
eff the ineffable because non-dual reality can never be rendered in
wholeness in dualistic form.

When listening to spiritual discourse in English, I have to
diligently allow the intellect to only touch and release the words
flowing by, not allowing it to do the pitbull routine on concepts. I
have to treat it as if I were listening to pandits chanting in
Sanskrit. Honestly, I couldn't give a recap of anything said during
the weekend satsang intensive with Krishna Gauci, but I know I got a
lot out of it because I would have physical shudders of recognition.
