First of all, TM is a tantric practice, not Vedic. And Buddhas extend before the "historical Buddha", as well as after. Some of the rishis in Bon Po and Vedism actually are previous Buddhas.
I really don't feel a strong "reaction", but instead see a strong disparity between factual and historical reality and stoopid things TMers say.
So, whatever sweeteners your coffee, as far as I'm concerned, is righto ok, and das est goot...
