I didn't mean this in a derogatory way at all; After thinking this matter over... I just think Maharishi wants things a certain way and that is the end of it.
Even though he is enlightened, and a profound teacher, he still has his personality, and that is that. I believe anyone in Bevan's or John's position right now, would be the same, in Maharishi's presence, because at this stage, he really doesn't need to prove anything to anybody. If he truly, in his heart, is a monk and a recluse, by this time in his life, he has earned the right to hold any vision of the world he wishes and so desires.
