Gee, Rick. Why don't you tell us what you REALLY think?

If there were some connection I could perceive between Movement
plans and pronouncements and the reality I see around me (like
no pundits, no big buildings, nothing but economically disastrous
business ventures that I know of, etc.), it might be possible for
me to be willing to at least listen to Tony. He used to be a pretty
sensible, nice guy. Now he just looks like Maharishi's finger
puppet in realy bad drag.

I have no doubt that the absurdity will continue to get more and
more extreme until M's death. Even I still listen to M's
pronouncements, just out of past history and a sad hope that
something still might come out of this debacle.

But Tony? Or Bevan? Or John? Why would anyone listen to
them harp on about perfect vastu or the world's largest building,
or give me $600B so I can grow a ridiculously large quanity of
organic vegetables?

We all do things or pay attention to things because we think we
will get something out of that action, be it money or love or
spiritual development. I can understand why some people think
that believing M when he tells outright lies is good for their
spiritual devleopment (even though I think they're sadly deluded).
But I think only a very few will take Tony's pronouncements
as being a path to the Divine, no matter how silly sounding.
