I have a bunch of URLs which were sent to me by Caroline.  This is not an easily navigable website.  I didn't understand why until I had online chats, exchanged emails, received emails meant for those who are signing up and the like.  These people are /not/ Amazon.  You're not going to see "people who ordered this yagya also purchased these yagyas" for a reason.  These people appear to be very sincere and very purposeful in doing the right thing.  They are extremely Internet savvy, so it's not like they didn't know how to set up a shopping cart website which provides a profitable shopping experience.  The intentional yagyas are the usual ones:  financial success, business success, health issues, buying a house.  The intentional go all the way up to $10,000 for class A yagyas done with 35 or more priests for 9 days, 9 hours per day which are actually composite yagyas.  If you find the right tab/URL and you might not have yet, the math is very easy, just like it is with Dixit or Puja.net.  Take the number of priests, multiply by the number of days and hours, divide that number into the cost.  I have signed up for Powerful Jump-Start A, on http://www.yagna.by-choice.com/monthlys.htm .  1700 pundit hours for $1,300 for the first 3 months followed by KEY or FULFILLMENT monthly yagyas.  KEY is $350/month, 270 pundit hours.  I don't remember what the pundit hours are for FULFILLMENT.

All of this highly appeals to the scientist/mathematician I was trained as.  No, this is not cafeteria style.  The Jump Starts and Key or Fulfillment monthlies are determined for you by a panel of jyotishis and priests.  When you sign up and on the first of each month you're sent a questionnaire.  Your responses are used for intentions.   The Fulfillment monthly is overkill for your planets so you're allowed to throw in some lower class intentional yagyas now and again.  But you don't get to choose how many pundits, the date, the hour for the yagyas.  This is not an organization were the coordinator is being conned or held hostage by the priest or one were it's someone's hobby and the priest has a vested interested in taking in as much as you're willing to spring for.

This is Maharishi Joytish/Maharishi Yagya (with things MY's left out, which is why it's spelled Yagna).  What you get is calculated out, begun at the jyotish right time, done with the Jyotish and yagya tradition number of priests.

What are the number of repetitions?  I don't know, except to say that the number per priest is set, which is why there are classes A, B and C.  I also know that these yagyas are said to take longer than others because full, long versions of the Vedic mantras are used instead of shortened ones.

Tom,

Thanks for your note.

Regarding intentional yagyas, are you referring to the lefthand
pull-down window on the order form on their website? With the
planetery ones being on  the right side.

Their "input" refusing to do intentional vs planetary yagyas is not
explicit in the realms of the website I have read. Am I missing
something? They do "offer" complimentary recommendations, based on a
jyotish chart. Is this really a requirement -- where they make their
assessments? (I think this is a good thing -- its just not obvious
from  their site.)

I am impressed that they state that if you don't know what you are
really asking for, don't "order" it. They don't seem to be trying to
"increase volume", but rather appear to be sincerely providing a
"charitable" service.

You stated in a recent post that they pay their pundits $1.35 / or
something like that. How did you derive that figure? How many pundits
do they typically use in each yagya? Can "multiples" be requested?
Nine pundits instead of 3 for example? (or what ever the appropriate
multiples are). Same with repetitions of the ceremony? For example, 3
days instead of 1 day?
