Yow.  Why is it so tough to get a straight answer
here?  I'm not asking whether there's an excuse
for doing stupid stuff on the way up.  I'm asking
whether TM really would have been able to save the
world if MMY hadn't screwed up.

If it were Amma who had dreamed up TM, would she
have been able to do it right?
