I disagree, Judy. Maharishi has made innumerable announcements, starting with the Dawn of the Age of Enlightenment in January 1975 where he explicitly stated that the end of suffering and ignorance had arrived, and it was only *up* from here.
There was no mention that some mass suffering or long delays would have to be endured prior to the AoE taking hold. Makes it clear that all those earlier announcements were either wishful thnking, marketing PR, just plain wrong, or some combination of the three.
