The problem was that you made a little gentle fun of him at the end of your post, and making fun of Barry is THE Unforgiveable Sin in Barry's book. It always makes him go completely insane, complete with hallucinations. BTW, it wasn't a "disturbance in the force" that caused Curtis to materialize on FFL a day or two after we'd had this fairly lengthy discussion about him; he'd been lurking. Here's another interesting post from Sal in that discussion; she had known Curtis at the time he was, according to her, doing his TMO-Nazi thing. It wasn't "hearsay," contrary to Barry's claim; it was her personal experience of how he behaved as Center Chairman in DC: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/message/97351 Shemp McGurk, BTW, was most definitely not a "troll." He could be annoying as hell, but he also made a lot of valuable, substantive contributions while he was on FFL, as Barry knows. And his initial query that started the thread was entirely innocuous, as Barry also knows. Here's the first post in the thread; down below Shemp's inquiry post is a list of the posts in the following discussion about Curtis before he showed up here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/message/97327 (If anybody decides to quote any of them, be sure to delete his real last name if it appears in what you quote, as Ravi did. Curtis tends to get rather angry if his real name is used here.) > Good for him, it is what the TMO expects. I am sure he was the equivalent of > a 5 star general.
