Nader's book is 510 Euros (US$626) now at: http://tinyurl.com/84vk5.
Click on publications by other authors, etc.

I had several experiences over the last couple of years that saved
me from throwing more money away vis a vis the TM organization:

1. About seven years ago, after giving several hundred dollars to
the local org, I received no personal acknowledgement, other than a
tax statement. I felt that my gesture was personal and sincere, yet
they couldn't be bothered to thank me. End of donations.

2. About five years ago, when the World Peace bonds were announced,
I wanted to buy some, but they weren't authorized for sale in
California. Whew!

3. About two years ago, I purchased a Maharishi Ayurvedic treatment
for a friend. Although they did get some benefit from it, the
facility and overall experience was not worth the money spent. End
of that.

Now, *that's* "support of Nature"!

Overall, the TM organization trades on its supposed ability to offer
the supplicant true, easy enlightenment, while most of members and
many of its supporters struggle in impovershed conditions, living in
fantasy land.

Lessons learned:
1. The TM technique works, still does, and hooray for the $65 I
spent 30 years ago.

2. The TM-Sidhis work, though they are so powerful and time
intensive that once they have done their job, that of purifying the
nervous system to experience God Consciousness, no need to continue.
And I earned them by working a year for the Movement; a fair trade-
off.

3. Maharishi's translation of the Bhagavad Gita. Good book, and lots
of knowledge in it.

4. To follow my heart and mind, wherever they lead. Even if those
paths completely contradicted what the Movement leaders were saying.
And they frequently did (and do).

5. That true lasting enlightenment comes from the hard fought
realization of Oneness of all beings, and as some have said, this
final step cannot be taught.

Oddly, we can find others within Ourselves easily, but when we seek
to locate our self within our Self, there is nothing there!
