The article mentions solar storms. We're in another strong solar cycle 
right now.  They occur about every 11 years which roughly coincides with 
Jupiter returns. Here's a little video someone put together based on a

I also don't think we've done very good research into the impact of all 
the radio waves we broadcast on the human mind.  And I often wonder what 
might have happened if Tesla got his way about broadcasting electricity?
